They get political

When I was coming up, it was a dangerous world, and you knew exactly who they were. It was us versus them, and it was clear who them was. Today we are not so sure who the they are, but we know they’re there.

-George W. Bush, Jan. 2000

…but they hardly know where to begin.

  1. They are exactly (barring travel) where they have been for the past ten years. Oddly enough, while “W” was governor they could have (conceivably) egged his house, not that they ever would.
  2. Perhaps they were a little dangerous, back when they were coming up — but nowhere near as dangerous as “W.”
  3. Hey, “W.”, why the adversarial position against “them.” This is obviously between you and they. (That’s us-they, not them-they.) (That last parenthetical statement most emphatically does NOT contain pig latin.)
  4. “W.”, you have never known who they are. You didn’t know back then, and you don’t know now. It’s not like they are hiding from you!

Frankly, George, they are disappointed that you chose to make them (and they, apparently) the targets of your witch-hunt. Please have your staff research more carefully before you speak out against them (and they). Your careless and slanderous comments have left almost no lives and reputations in disarray.

They await your apology.
